Ben Hilfenhaus Medal

The Ben Hilfenhaus Medal was introduced for the 2013/14 season. It recognises the Best Under-21 Player in the Cricket North West 1st Grade competition.

Its aim is to encourage our best young players to strive to play at the highest level they possibly can, just as former Ulverstone player Ben Hilfenhaus did. Ben worked incredibly hard on his game while rising through the ranks at Ulverstone, before moving to Hobart and going on to represent Tasmania and Australia in each format of the game.

At end of the roster season each 1st Grade Captain is asked to award 3, 2 and 1 votes to who they believed were the Best Under-21 players they had seen in thecurrent 1st Grade season.

2013/14 - Trent Keep (Latrobe): 14 votes, 654 runs @ 50.31, 14 catches, 2 stumpings
