2014/15 Cricket Tasmania General Facilities Grants Program
Cricket Tasmania is pleased to announce the 2014-15 Cricket Tasmania General Facilities Grants Program is now open to all Clubs, Associations and Local Government across Tasmania. There is a very important relationship between protecting and improving cricket’s facilities and partnering with government, other sports and cricket stakeholders to help achieve an increase in participation substantially and to inspire the next-generation of players and fans.
To be successful, the proposal will need to clearly demonstrate how it will meet the following criteria:
Support Cricket Tasmania’s strategy in line with the Strategy for Australian Cricket. Cricket Tasmania’s Strategic Plan can be found at
To what extent the proposal benefits the following segments: female, multi-cultural, indigenous, all abilities, juniors, seniors and veterans.
The size of Cricket Tasmania’s contribution to proposals will be in the range of $2,000.00 and $20,000.00.
The size of Australian Cricket’s contribution cannot be more than 33% of the total project value.
Demonstrate support by other partners including local government (financial or in kind contribution). Priority will be given to proposals that demonstrate a good return on investment and multiplier effect.
Additional funding may be available through Cricket Australia’s Facilities Program. Cricket Tasmania will assess whether successful applicants are eligible to apply for the National Program on a project by project basis.
Cricket Tasmania will not provide support for retrospective proposals (i.e. For already completed projects).
The club or association benefitting from the proposal must support at least one of the following Australian Cricket programs, in2Cricket or T20 Blast (or both) and be MyCricket compliant.
Commitment to deliver periodic updates and a post completion report on the project/s funded based on a standard template provided by Cricket Tasmania.
Staff in Cricket Tasmania's North West office would be pleased to assist organisations applying for funding under the grants program. Please contact Regional Cricket Manager Adam Drinkwell (6424 1835 or firstname.lastname@example.org) or Regional Administrator Nathan Dennis (6424 7399 or email@example.com).
