The 2017/18 Senior Competition Rules Handbook is now available. It contains the playing conditions for the Health Care Insurance 1st Grade, Tasfreight 2nd Grade and Crowe Horwath Female Competition rosters across all formats.
The new edition features a number of changes from the 2016/17 season, largely due to the updated 2017 Laws of Cricket, and some tweaks to existing competition By-Laws.
Cricket North West would like thank to everyone who attended last night’s meeting of Senior Captains, Coaches and Umpires. NWTCUSA Umpires Advisor (Training) Darren Close ran through changes to the Laws of Cricket, while CT Regional Administrator Nathan Dennis covered changes to competition By-Laws and routine procedures.
All clubs received six hard copies of both the Senior Rules Handbook and a summary of the Laws and By-Laws changes. Copies should go to the Club/Curator, Senior Coach, Senior Female Coach, 1st Grade Captain, 2nd Grade Captain and Female Competition Captain.
Links to all the materials presented at last night's meeting are presented below. The “Meeting with Senior Captains, Coaches & Umpires” and “CNW Law Changes” PDFs provide a great overview of everything that’s changed for 2017/18 along with an outline of regular competition management routines.
Please note that the Appendix section of the Rules Handbook now includes copies of the instruction sheets for entering data in MyCricket, sending scores and teams to the media, etc. Links to these were also included in last week’s Bulletin.
