Meetings for prospective players, coaches, community partners, committee, helpers and supporters.
The Greater Northern Raiders are undertaking a feasibility study in to the ‘interest and capacity’ to field a team in the Cricket Tasmania Premier League Women’s Competition from 2019/2020.
Establishment of a Women’s Raiders team is consistent with the purpose of the Raiders, being to provide a pathway for cricketers in Northern Tasmania and is reflected in Cricket Tasmania’s Premier Cricket strategy. This study aims to determine whether the level of interest and availability of female players in Northern Tasmania is at a stage where a Raider’s women’s team is viable.
On behalf of the Raiders, I am collecting, and delivering, information relating to all aspects of the team’s formation. The scope for the study includes;
• Readiness of playing group• Accessibility of playing venues• Competition entry options (e.g. staged approach)
You are invited to attend one of the following hour-long meetings:
• NTCA Ground, Launceston - Mon 11 Feb, 6.30 pm• Dowling McCarthy Room, Devonport - Mon 18 Feb, 6.30 pm • Burnie Hurricanes Rooms,West Park - Tues 19 Feb, 6.30 pm
Please RSVP by text or mobile (Richard 0448 020 666).
If you are unable to attend, I’d love to know whether its because the meeting times don’t suit or whether it’s a sign you are not interested, ready, available etc. If you are unavailable to attend but have an interest, I’d be very pleased to talk with you one to one or with a group of your team mates, with your club or coach.
Please forward these details. These meetings are for everyone. The Raiders are for everyone.
